Our 8th Annual Golf Outing: A Day of Generosity, Community, and Heart
We’re finally catching up on some important updates, and one we absolutely did not want to overlook is the recap of our 8th Annual Golf Outing — originally shared by Homeless to Home on October 25. With the busy fall season, Paws & Pumpkins, and the recovery period we talked about in our recent Whisker Weekly update, this wonderful event hasn’t yet received the spotlight it deserves. So even though we’re sharing this in mid-November, the gratitude is just as real — and the i

Paws & Pumpkins Festival 2025 Recap: What an Incredible Night!
We may be a little late getting this update out, but trust us — the excitement hasn’t worn off one bit. Our Paws & Pumpkins Festival was one of the most lively, joyful, and successful events we’ve ever hosted at The Woods Park & Pavilion, and we’re still riding the high from that night. Volunteer Spotlight: Alex "Cat Man" Carder

A Heart for Cats: Eagle Scout Project Brings Shelter, Love, and Leadership
This summer, a remarkable young woman chose Homeless to Home Animal Rescue & Cat Sanctuary as the recipient of her Eagle Scout Service Project—and what she created is nothing short of inspiring. For the past year, she poured her time, creativity, and leadership into designing and building custom outdoor shelters for our sanctuary cats. From initial planning and communication, to securing materials, to leading members of BSA Troop 7023 through construction and final instal

Standing Tall for the Sanctuary: PRUNE Tree Care Helps Keep Our Cats Safe
If you visited the Sanctuary recently, you might’ve noticed something different: clearer skies, trimmed branches—and some very curious cats watching intently from below. That’s thanks to PRUNE Tree Care Experts, who came out this past week to remove overgrown limbs and branches growing up through the fencing on top of the Sanctuary. Their work not only cleaned up the space—it reduced hazards that could have led to injury or damage (and yes, the cats were extremely invested
