The Woods Website Is Officially Rebuilt — Here’s What You’ll Find

After nearly a year of steady behind-the-scenes work, the completely rebuilt The Woods Park & Pavilion website is live.

This isn’t just a visual refresh. It’s a full structural overhaul designed to make booking easier, partnerships clearer, and community involvement more accessible — all while strengthening support for Homeless to Home Animal Rescue & Cat Sanctuary.

If you haven’t explored it recently, here’s what’s waiting for you.

Booking Is Clearer and More Streamlined

Our brand-new Tour Request System allows renters to request a walkthrough online and pencil in a preferred date. Official booking still takes place during the in-person tour — where contracts are signed and deposits are secured — but starting the process is now faster and simpler.

We’ve also updated pricing across the board. Private Events, Public Events, and Weddings now have distinct pricing structures so renters can clearly see what applies to their event type before moving forward.

And for the first time, updated rental contracts are available to download directly from the website. Each type of event has a different contract, and you can find them on the relevant pages. We want expectations to be transparent from the beginning.

Local Services Listings — Built to Connect Businesses

One of the most impactful additions is our new Local Services Listings, now organized into three separate databases:

These listings give florists, entertainers, rental companies, caterers, DJs, and other event professionals visibility in front of renters actively planning their events.

So far we have listed businesses we have worked with before in the past. We would love for our databases to grow! If your business services events in any capacity, we invite you to reach out about being included. The goal is to strengthen collaboration across our local event community.

Food Trucks: A Flexible Opportunity

We’ve launched a dedicated Food Truck Request Form, making it easier than ever to claim open dates.

Any day the venue isn’t reserved is potentially available for food trucks. Trucks can also keep The Woods in mind as a backup location if another event falls through.

With built-in promotion, roadside visibility, and proximity to everyday traffic near Dollar General and Homeless to Home, the setup is designed to be mutually beneficial.

We’re focused on building ongoing working relationships — not just filling calendar spots.

Public Events — Now Easier to Follow

Our updated Events Page provides a clear place to see what’s happening at The Woods. Fundraisers, festivals, food truck nights, and community gatherings are now organized and easy to browse.

If you’re looking for ways to get involved locally while supporting rescue efforts, this is the place to start.

As more events are added, this is also where you will find opportunities to sign up to volunteer for some of our bigger events and fundraisers.

Supporting the Mission — Wherever You Live

For the first time, supporters can donate directly through our website. Online donations are shared between Homeless to Home and The Woods, allowing us to continue improving the venue while strengthening rescue funding.

We’ve also launched a print-on-demand merchandise store. Every item purchased directly supports the mission, and we’ll continue expanding the design offerings over time.

Whether you’re local or out of state, there is now a direct way to contribute.

Coming Soon: Pouncing Piper Photography

A new partnership page is on the way for Pouncing Piper Photography, offering event add-ons and specialty sessions — including pet photography. A portion of those services will also benefit Homeless to Home.

It’s another example of how partnerships can serve both clients and community impact at the same time.
